TO PREVENT FLOATING
\nFill the \u201cinner\u201d ladder legs with water and cover the
\nfour fill holes with plugs. Place the ladder over the
\npool top seat with the swing up treads on the
\noutside of the pool. Tip the ladder sideways to
\nallow the treads to fill the water. This will prevent
\nfloating. The platform should rest on the pool top
\nseat and the bottom tread should rest firmly on the
\npool bottom. If they do not, the extension boots
\nmay be adjusted up or down as required to
\nachieve the best fit.<\/p>\n
For maximum stability, the ladder should be fastened to the top of the pool. Postion the ladder at
\nthe desired location on the pool top seat and mark
\nthe two locations of the holes in the platform onto
\nthe top seat. Move the ladder away, and being
\ncareful not to drill into the liner, drill two holes
\nthrough the top seat. Fasten the ladder to the top
\nseat using two 1\/4-20 x 2-1\/4\u201d bolts, 1\/4\u201d flat washers, and 1\/4-20 hex nuts.<\/p>\n
Winterizing: To winterize your ladder pull the ladder
\nfrom the pool, remove the plugs, lay the ladder on its
\nside to allow the water to drain out. A small amount of
\nwater left in the ladder will not cause any damage.
\nReplace the plugs into the fill holes so that they do not
\nget lost. The ladder may be left outside.<\/p>\n
