2. What is the warranty and what does it cover?

Each Paradise Pools comes with a thirty warranty on workman ship and material which includes use by dogs and people. Outside forces damaging the pool (such as falling tree limbs etc) are not covered by the warranty. If you ever have any need for warranty service or replacement parts you can call us.

3.What kind Of filter is included in the pool package?

Standard Dog pool filter is a 1.5 hp 19in sand filter, two for larger pools. Sand filters do a good job cleaning the particulate matter from the pool water, and if you use a Zeo sand product as the filter medium you will filter down to a very fine micron level. The larger size of the sand filter means you can go longer in between cleaning, and cleaning the filter is much easier than others, as you simply back wash the dirt out.

4. What other equipment comes with the dog pools?

Besides the sand filter, the dog pools also come with a heavy duty dog step ramp, a side attached skimmer, thru-wall fittings and gaskets. Hose clamps and hoses and an all resin safety ladder for people. (which dogs have been known to use.)

5. What is the dog step ramp?

The dog step ramp is a metal framed resin step system that attaches to a deck and allows the dog to swim up to it and exit the pool with little effort. Even dogs with mobility problems have no problem exiting the pool using this step system. It is very durable and can handle the heaviest of dogs.

6. What is the best way to sanitize the water?

Like any pool you can use any sanitizing system with our pool. Chlorine, Bromine, Salt System, but we recommend the copper silver ion water purifier (or ionizer) as it is 99% chlorine free which is very good for dogs in the pool. It is an automatic system that will treat water as it flows through the system from the filter. If you are using your pool for commercial reasons it is a great selling point.

7. What is the best size pool to purchase?

The best size to get is the one that fits your needs. We have dog day care centers that operate just fine in a 10ft x 18ft pool and others that have huge pools. If you are planning to use your pool in certified dock diving competitions then you are going to want to get larger pools. The 21ft x 45ft is recommended by all Dock Diving associations

8. What is the difference between tradition (Doughboy) above ground pools and Paradise Pools?

The difference between our pools and other traditional pools is the liner. While traditional pools do have steel walls, the interior liner is a very thin vinyl that is easily scratched and damages by claws. They just will not hold up to the use by dogs. Also our pools can be easily moved if needed, a steel pool is nearly impossible to move and you will need to get a new liner. Avoid the cheap pools you find in the big box and cheap department stores, they may look similar to ours but they are not. They come with a 90 day warranty; ours comes with a 30 year warranty.

9. How much space do I need for my pool?

Whatever size pool you get you are going to want to allow 4 extra feet in the dimensions for the legs that stick out. So a 10ft x 18ft pool would require a space of 14ft x 22ft and a 21ft x 41ft pool would require a space of 25ft x 45ft. The entire space will have to be flat firm and level, this is the most crucial aspect of these pools. The assembly is fairly simple with no tools required. But if you make sure the ground is compact and level, this will make for a happy pool experience
