Pt 1 Above Ground Pool Problems
Q. The ground has shifted under my above ground pool and
…the pool is tilted, I am afraid it might burst
A. What to do…
As the famous line says. Be afraid, be very afraid. Empty your pool immediately. The weight of thousands of gallons of water supported are meant to be supported vertically. When a pool tilts, suddenly thousands of pounds of water pressure are pushing the pool in a direction it was not designed to support. Relieve the pressure immediately and start over, making sure the ground is compacted completely first.

Pinhole Rust Spots On Above Ground Pools
Q. After 15 years I had little holes appear about a foot off the ground on my steel walled pool
and it is leaking all over the pool at that height. I have a sand base.
A. What Happened?
Here is what happen. When you originally put sand in the pool, the light pebbles floated up in the air and landed on the wall. The sand pebbles over time pierced your liner from the pressure of water against the liner and water flowed out in small amounts and rusted the steel wall right at the small diameter hole. The pH. in water tilted too low causing acidity conditions and rusted out your wall. You will need a new liner a new wall and remove the sand and add comfy bottom instead. That will solve your problem.
